Amazingly for kids

This is located in Kesari, Sindhudurg. Located on the outskirts and has no houses as such in the premises. It is a huge area and entrance has this beautiful handpainted drawings by artists. As soon as you enter there are vehicles where one can sit and click pictures and I guess they should start using those vehicles for kids for people to ride in the area but again there's no such space allocated so I guess clicking pictures is the only option. The entrance has Sindhudurg Bank ATM and washrooms. We reached here around 4 to 5 in the evening and the washrooms are quite maintained. Just near that in the corner is a small cafe which serves affordable food options. We were already full so could not have anything here and opted for tea and it was good, cold coffee was horrible as it was full of ice (the next day I fell sick with constant coughing and sore throat, the ice was old), the chocolate ice cream was scary the color transferred to my kids mouth and I was 100% sure this wasn't good but than kids never listen so she ate that. Later she puked and we felt really bad seeing her state. The cafe is affordable but I'm not sure about the quality they serve. Just near the cafe is the entrance with a huge clown fish mouth (as seen in nemo). Loved the entrance and the crab with the small waterfall. There are several birds, reptiles, animals, and fishes here. The staff is huge here but I feel they aren't utilized here much. A little story about why this started or a small tour guide. I know there are nameplates with information available but a little can be done. For example the reptiles area the cleaning wasn't done below the trees looked dry, there's suppose to be a turtle area and even the ducks area was unclean. They are supposed to expand to other activities so maybe that's when they will look into utlizing the staff. The aquarium is nice well air-conditioned with one floor on top and the fish collection is outstanding. However, I'm not much of a fan of birds and animals held in captivity for our entertainment. I saw there are cameras everywhere but only men are outside the aquarium. There's no one standing near the ducks and emu area. A small kid played with the bucket kept for emu to eat which was so sad to watch. I tried stopping him twice and then he let the emu eat peacefully. I always feel these animals should be in wild and not in cages but again that is my perspective here. A kids garden is also here where the swing is used by parents and it needs a little fixing. The garden is small but the ground is plain and a little landscaping with grass will help kids roam around freely. Overall, good and unique place in Sindhudurg but there's a lot improvement to be done.

They great place for family and school trips.One of the great aquarium I've ever visited and there are plenty types of fish species as well as u can buy fishes for your own aquarium.They also have Many types of birds and the best thing is they aslo have collection of some rare exotic animals all around the world. They are also openings soon the snow park, boating and the mesmerising aquarium with tunnel.Must visit place.

Worthy place to visit in the midst of pure nature. Can spend hours without noticing. Joyfull and a must visit place

It is a very nice place to visit with children, a variety of fishes available in the aquarium with details. Nice garden to play for children. Good collections of fishes, reptiles and birds. Also a good place for school trips. Food options are very limited better to carry your own food. A huge free parking lot is available. Its location is a bit inside from Belagavi Sawantwadi road, take a left turn after descending Amboli ghat. Follow the sign board.
